Adoption Information:

Around 100,000 children are adopted in America every
year, and the numbers are going up as the stigma surrounding
adoption dissolves and families become more
aware of adoption as an option. Some of these children are adopted domestically
through state funded or private agencies; others come to their forever homes
from distant lands.
According to the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, six
out of ten Americans are affected by adoption in some way. So, odds are, either
as an unsure pregnant woman, a couple struggling with infertility, a woman with
a desire to adopt orphans, or a close friend or family member to one of these,
adoption will touch your life. And as a Christian, aren’t we are all touched by
adoption since God adopted us?
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places
in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that
we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to
adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of
His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted
in the Beloved. (Ephesians 1:3-6)
